The Website Owner Mevis Rent a Car, mevisrentacar.gr, including subsidiaries and affiliates ("Website" or "Website Owner" or "we" or "us" or "our") provides the information contained on this website or any of the pages comprising the website ("website") to visitors ("visitors") (cumulatively referred to as "you" or "your" hereinafter) subject to the terms and conditions set out in these website terms and conditions, the privacy policy and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices which may be applicable to a specific section or module of this website.

2. Rental Requirements
Driver's age: Renters minimum age: 23 years old.
Driver's Licence: A valid driver’s licence held for at least 2 years is required.
Rental Duration: Minimum of one day (24 hours). Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/6th of the daily rate
Deposit: For final reconfirmation a 30% deposit of total amount is required at least.
Traffic Fines: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the greek traffic law during the rental period are paid soledly by the renter.
Gasoline: Gasoline consumption is charged to the renter.
Babyseats: Available upon request.
Availability: Vehicle models are supplied according to original planning. Delivery problems however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.
Express Service: In case of any mechanical failure or accident, road service will be available 24 hours per day; Tel. 28410-71744, 71305.
Ferrying the Vehicle: An advance written authorization from MEVIS Rent a car is required.
Cleaning: Cleaning costs are included in the rental fee, however cleaning fees can be imposed when the vehicle ist returned excessively dirty.
Animals: It’s not allowed to transport animals in the vehicle.
Tracking: Most of our vehicles have a cartracking device.
Off Road: It’s prohibited to drive off road. Any damage to the vehicle due to this will be charged to the renter.
Delivery and Collection of Cars: Within Heraklion-Sissi, free during office hours. Prior notice is required.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Fees: In the event that the Pick-Up location is different from the Drop-Off  location, extra charges will apply.

3. Insurances
All our offers include Collision Damage Waiver - CDW. During the booking procedure, an optional Full Insurance can be added.

 3.1.  Basic Insurance Includes:

• Collision Damage Waiver - CDW
• Deposit for Guarantee: An amount from the driver's credit/debit card will preauthorised as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charges arise. The amount for the groups (Mini, Mini Economy, Economy) is € 850, for the groups (Economy Diesel, Economy Diesel Automatic) is € 950, for the groups (Jeep 4X4, SUV, SUV Cabrio) is € 1200 and for the groups (Minibus 7 Seats, Minibus 7 Seats Automatic, Minibus 9 Seats) is € 1500.
• All rates and charges are subjected to VAT 24%.

  3.2.  Full Insurance Includes:         

• Full  insurance without any excess
• Personal accident insurance
• Collision damage waiver
• Glasses,mirrors,theft,fire protection
• Not Included tyres insurance and damages to underside of vehicle

  3.3.  Super Cover Insurance        

• The Super Cover can be selected only if the Full Insurance already have been selected.

  The Super Cover includes the tyres insurance and damages to underside of vehicle with no excess

12.9. If the car is misused for example: driving on sandy surfaces near to the sea, the customer will pay for all  damages incurred as the insurance will not cover misue.

 

13. Cancellation & Refund Policy

13.1.  Free cancellation of your booking up to 7 days prior to your pick-up time.
13.2.  You may cancel your reservation up to 7 days prior to the desgnated pick-up time without penalty, cancellations made in the week prior to the designated pick-up time will be charged with 35% of the booking amount.
13.3.  All cancellations should be made on our website or through e-mail.
